1. Do I need to apply visa for visiting China ?
Yes, any non-Chinese passport holder needs a visa of entering into China .

2. Is it safe to travel in China ?
Yes, China is regarded as the safe travel destination in the world. However, as a traveler, we advise you be cautious in China as you would be anywhere else. Serious crime against foreigner is rare.

3. Do I need vaccinations to enter China ?
Normally, you do not need any vaccinations to enter China except that you come from the infected area. We suggest you follow the advice from World Health Organization and your doctors.

4. Can I bring in Chinese currency into China for the sake of my convenience?
Yes, you can take RMB into China with limited value. Any passenger who carry over RMB20,000 in cash or foreign currencies with value exceeding US5,000 in cash should be declared in Customs.

5. Is it necessary to purchase any travel insurance when traveling to China ?
Yes, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance before departure to safeguard any unforeseen circumstances especially protection of medical requirement on the tour as it can be very costly for foreigner having medical treatment in China .

6. What are the hotel conditions and facilities in China ?
End of 2000, there were 6029 hotels catering for foreigners in China . There were 1899 hotels listed as three star, 352 as four star and 117 as five star, as established by international standards are available in the major cities. They all offer international standards of service.

7. Is internet available in the China hotels?
Yes, most 3 star hotels and above will provide internet service in your room with a reasonable fee or at the business centre.

9. What kind of meals will be available on tour?
All breakfast are served at your hotel with western style of buffet including fruits, salad and cereals. Lunch and dinner are usually Chinese food.

Yes, we do provide vegetarian meals if required.

11. What should I do if my flight is canceled or delayed?
If your international flight is cancelled, delayed affecting you arrive on time, you should contact us immediately so that we can make the necessary changes to minimize any inconvenience.

12. What sort of aircrafts are usually for China domestic flights?
We usually arrange for a Boeing or Airbus for our clients. However, sometimes only Russian aircraft are available to fly between smaller cities.

13. What are the train travel conditions in China ?
Train travel is an interesting, inexperienced and safe way of getting around China . In China , the accommodation on the train are divided into four categories, soft-sleeper, soft-seat, hard-sleeper and hard-seat. Usually, the soft sleeper carriage is air-conditioning which is what we suggest you to take.

14. Can I use my credit cards in China ?
Yes, the following credit cards are accepted in China-Master Card, Visa, American Express, JCB and Diners Card. These credit cards are widely accepted at hotels, department stores and shopping centre located in tourist area.

15. What is the tipping practice for visitors to China ?
It is a common practice for visitors to tip the tour guide and driver in recognition of their good service. It is not customary to leave tips at hotel or local restaurant as the bill usually includes 10-15% service charge.

16. What is the limitation of check-in baggage of traveling on China domestic flights?
Any passenger holding on economy class adult ticket is entitled to check-in luggage of 22 KG (about 44 pounds) free of charge .

17. Can I use my mobile phone in China ?
Yes, you can enjoy GSM networks provide coverage in the major cities.

18. What is the best time to go to Tibet ?
It is recommended that one visits Tibet around May to July and September to October. You may expect heavy rainfall during August.

19. What should I do to avoid mountain sickness?
You should never be nervous and worried about your trip. If you have respiratory problems, we advise you to postpone your trip. A thorough physical check up before your trip is necessary. You should not do anything strenuous on the first day and take a good rest. Do not rely too much on oxygen equipment all the time, so that you can accommodate yourself to the high altitude as early as possible.

20. What is the general weather condition for Yangtze River Cruise?
Generally speaking, it is windy, humid and few sunshine. The average temperature is ranging from 30C in July to 10C in January. Spring and Autumn is the best season for river cruise.
